Biography

G. Phillip David is the founder of David and Associates, PLLC. Mr. David is personally involved in every case to insure that each client receives the very best representation. Mr. David’s litigation team consists of very experienced trial attorneys and paralegals as well as a licensed private investigator that has been part of the team for many years.

Mr. David was born and raised in Whiteville, NC. His father was a school principal for 35 years, and his mother was a school teacher for 35 years. He graduated from Whiteville High School in 1977. He attended East Carolina University, and graduated in 1981 with a Batchelor of Science degree in Business Management and Marketing. He entered law school in 1985, and completed his law degree in an expedited manner by simultaneously attending two law schools, the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and North Carolina Central University in Durham, NC. He graduated from law school in 1987, passed the state bar exam on his first attempt in 1988, and started his own law practice the same year. Since then he and his firm have successfully represented over 60,000 injured clients.

Mr. David met his wife, Ann, in law school. They have been partners in life and in the practice of law for 35 years. They have 3 sons, ages 40, 30 and 28. He and his wife are members of Pine Valley United Methodist Church in Wilmington, NC.
