Aggressively Fighting for Injured Victims in North Carolina

Wrongful death may follow another passenger’s demise

| Jan 16, 2014 | Wrongful Death |

Sadly, another recent North Carolina car accident has led to another passenger dying. The family of the victim, much like any other family in this particular situation, may have the right to file a claim against the driver for wrongful death if they wish. In addition to that family possibly deciding to file wrongful death, there are two other families in relation to this car accident, and they may have the option to file if two people with life-threatening injuries succumb to them.

The car accident happened when one driver allegedly lost control of the car he or she was driving. Unfortunately, this vehicle had four people in it at the time that it lost control, and this incident would prove to be life-changing. For unknown reasons, the vehicle ran off the road and eventually came to a halt when it crashed into a power line pole.

One passenger was said to have been killed at the scene of the accident. While the one passenger was apparently the only fatality at the time, there were two other passengers who had to be rushed by ambulance to a local hospital for immediate medical attention for their life-threatening injuries. The other person in the vehicle was also taken to the hospital, but his or her injuries are unknown at this time.

Although the circumstances surrounding just why the driver lost control are still unknown, there is still one fatality. In addition to that fatality, there are two people who are suffering serious, life-threatening injuries. The North Carolina family who is dealing with this fatality may wish to file a claim against the driver in an attempt to be provided with restitution for this tragedy. If the two in critical condition succumb to their life-threatening injuries, their families may also have the right to file a claim against the driver for wrongful death if they wish. If these victims survive, they may want to file personal injury claims against the driver at fault.
